Health Care Proponents To Head Back To Pierre Following Penny Sales Tax Failure

South Dakota voters last week defeated an initiated measure that would have raised the state sales tax by a penny, with the estimated one hundred eighty million dollars yearly, split between education and health care providers.  Dave Hewett, President of the South Dakota Association of Health Care Organizations, one of the backers of the initiative, says the funding gap continues to widen for both groups…
