Minnesota-based Anderson Seed Company held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their plant near Redfield on Thursday. Ron Anderson, owner of Anderson Seed Company said that they picked Redfield as a location since they were buying a large amount of product from the area. Instead of paying to move the seeds, he said it made sense to build a plant near the product instead.
