Dr. Wayne Carr has been selected to serve on three Delphi panels by the Scientific Commission of the Clinical Compass.
He will be serving on an acute care panel with the responsibility of generating a consensus statement on definitions of levels of care for the more common conditions, especially as they occur in chiropractic practice. The second panel is responsible to establish Best Practices for Chiropractic Management of Patients with Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain: a Clinical Practice Guideline. And the third panel is will be developing Best Practices for Chiropractic Care for Pregnant and Postpartum Women with Low Back and/or Pelvic Girdle Pain.
Dr. Carr has previously served on three other Delphi studies including neck and lower back pain in addition to a statement on opiod use. Dr. Carr stated, “I am proud to serve on these panels and am dedicated to advancing the care provided to patients who suffer from pain and disability”. Dr. Carr works with a panel of topic-area experts composed of Doctors of Chiropractic, Medical Doctors and PhD psychologist who have extensive experience in working with these conditions.
